Luoyang Tongbao Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 2003 and is located in Luoyang, the ancient capital of the thirteen dynasties, a famous historical and cultural city. The company's predecessor was a Sino-foreign joint venture jointly funded by the national mega-enterprise Chinalco Luoyang Copper Co., Ltd. and the prestigious Luxembourg Paul Water Company in the steel industry. In 2017, Beijing Taifubo New Investment Co., Ltd. acquired the state-owned equity of Luoyang Tongtong Copper Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd., which gave Tongbao a new life. The company inherits and carries forward the advanced production and management concepts of state-owned enterprises and foreign industry giants.

The company mainly develops and produces high-purity oxygen-free copper rolling plate production of blast furnace copper cooling wall, iron mouth area copper cooling wall series, blast furnace tuyere small sleeve, non-ferrous smelting furnace copper water jacket, other metallurgical equipment cooling elements and forging copper crucible, precision copper parts. The company continues to explore new areas, blast furnace equipment, non-ferrous smelting furnace cooling equipment has a number of technologies.
