According to Lanzhou Customs statistics, in the first four months of this year, Gansu imported 1.06 million tons of copper concentrate from five Central Asian countries, an increase of 91.8 percent over the same period last year. At the same time, Gansu exported about 1700 tons of fresh apples and pears to five Central Asian countries, with a value of more than 14 million yuan.
In the first four months of this year, Gansu's total import and export value to the five Central Asian countries reached 4.76 billion billion yuan, accounting for 40.5 percent of the province's total import and export value to countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative" route. (CCTV News)
