China Nonferrous Metals Plans to Invest 2.35 billion Yuan Copper Industry Project in Huangshi

On June 22, China Nonferrous Group and Huangshi Municipal People's Government signed a project investment cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, China Nonferrous Metals Group will make full use of the location and resource advantages of Huangshi City to promote the construction of Huangshi copper industry, supporting recycling industry, metallurgical equipment manufacturing and other projects, with a total planned investment of 2.35 billion billion yuan.
Huangshi City is located in the southeast of Hubei Province, with strong industrial foundation, complete industrial layout and perfect development functions. It is an open city along the Yangtze River approved by the State Council and an important raw material industrial base in central China.
China Nonferrous Metals Group is a large central enterprise under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, ranking 386th in the world's top 500 in 2016. In the Huangshi area, China Nonferrous Metals Group has two important capital-funded enterprises, Daye Nonferrous Metals and China 15th Metallurgical Corporation. China Nonferrous Metals Group and Hubei Province have successively signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and a deepening strategic cooperation framework agreement. From 2011 to 2016 alone, it achieved a total fixed asset investment of 7.85 billion billion yuan in Hubei.
